I added a few picutres to my Colorado blog! They're pretty funny! I totally forgot that we had picutres taken there but I had to put up! Enjoy :)

Colorado

So I'm just barely getting around to posting some pictures from a business trip we took to Colorado! Greg, being the hard worker that he is, qualified for President's Club this year! So we got to stay at the Brodamoor. It was absolutely beautiful and we had a great time!

This was Brooklynn's first time in a swimming pool! She liked it, but we didn't have a swim diaper for her so we didn't stay in very long :(

Then on one of the nights, the dinner theme was "Denim and Diamonds". It was kind of a little country theme but was a lot of fun!

This is Greg's favorite 'G' belt buckle, which he got many compliments on :)

Brooklynn looks so thrilled about the evening, wouldn't you say?

This is my mom, me, and my youngest sister Emily.

And these are just some fun ones we had taken there! :)

The other dinner was the awards night. Greg was given an award for being the number 2 agent in the company for first year qualifiers! Quite impressive :) Congrats hon!

These shoes are totally shoes Adrianne would have loved :)

Baby Blessing

So Greg and I blessed Brooklynn on Sunday, June 7th, 2009. Greg did a fantastic job! It was absolutely beautiful and so was Brooklynn :) He is going to be such a great dad! Also, my wonderful brother-who I just love to pieces, was ordained earlier that morning and also got to be a part of the circle! It was such a wonderful day! Brooklynn and her Daddy!

Brooklynn Adrianne Allen

I just wanted to post her baby announcement! Life's been a little crazy so if we forgot to send you one, please forgive us :)

It's been a long time!

So it's official, I'm the worst blogger in the world! But hey, I'm working on it! I'll get better! But a lot has happened since the last time I blogged. Greg and I had a beautiful baby girl on March 7, 2009. She was born at 5:14 am and weighed 8lbs. 2 oz. The day of and day before were pretty interesting... Greg and my dad left out of town really, really early on Friday morning for work things but were going to be back later that night. Meanwhile, my dear friend Angela was getting married in the morning, so I asked my mom if she would mind coming with me- heaven forbid anything happened. And that's where it all began. . . I started having contractions about every 10 minutes from the time we sat down for the ceremony and through their luncheon. Greg kept calling me and texting me throughout the day to make sure I was fine, and I didn't want him to panic, so I told him things were great and I was doing fine :) They had planned on coming home sometime around 10pm or so and I just figured I'd be fine until then. Well, that didn't happen. My mom spoke with my dad, and they had gotten an earlier flight out and my mom informed my dad that was a good idea since I'd been having contractions all day! But still, I said not to say anything to Greg, I didn't want him to worry, I'd just tell him when they got home about 8. Well my contractions progressively got stronger, and by the time they landed, I told Greg I'd been experiencing them all day- he wasn't very happy I didn't tell him, but he got over it pretty quick :) My little sister Emily spent most of that night timing my contractions(which I'm sure a 13 year old wants to do on a Friday night) while my mom packed a bag for me and Greg went home to pack a bag for the baby. What an awful Mom of me! I didn't even have anything packed :( He hardly made it in the door from packing before we got in the car and drove to the hospital. They went ahead and admitted me when we got there, which was about 10:30 or so, and we had a beautiful baby about 7 hours later :) She weighed 8 lbs. 2 oz. and was 19 1/2 inches long. We named her Brooklynn Adrianne Allen. My nurse was absolutely wonderful! And sadly my doctor wasn't there to deliver her :( But things went pretty well! So here are some pictures to enjoy!

Our first post!

So this is Greg's and my very first post :) We have really no idea what to say, but we want to post something ha ha. Actually, it's been quite the week for us. We truly appreciate all the love and support of our family and friends, and even those we don't know very well. We will miss our sweet Adrianne very much! Both Greg and I considered her our big sister and best friend. We've learned quickly that sometimes the Lord has a bigger plan for us than we have for ourselves. But we know that we will see her again, and that brings smiles to our faces and joy to our hearts! We're sure that Adrianne and our little one, Brooklynn are becoming well acquainted! We are also very excited to become new parents, and hopefully now, we'll have a little extra help :) Anyways, we love you Annie Foo!!
